The Rotary Foundation is a benevolent foundation that supports the humanitarian works of Rotary around the world.  Since it's founding in 1917, The Rotary Foundation has spent over $3 Billion on projects relating to elimination of diseases, including polio; clean water and sanitation; peace and conflict resolution; maternal and infant health; economic and community development; and the support of basic education and literacy.  The Rotary Foundation was recently recognized as one of the most effective benevolent foundations in the world.
