At the October 10, 2017, meeting, the Rotary Club of Laplace recognized Amiee Dauenhauer as the Student of the Quarter. Amiee is an outstanding student at Ascension of Our Lord Elementary School and is a member of the Beta Club, on the Honor Roll, and a member of the Student Council. Angela is a teacher and coach at Fifth Ward Elementary School and was nominated by her Principle for her energy, passion and drive toward educational excellence.
